Postal codes starting N2A are Ruby’s home route around Idlewood. Those addresses can choose from the crew’s available one-hour windows and are usually the easiest to fit in.
For the rest of Kitchener, send a booking request and it joins the queue for your postal district. Once a few nearby homes are waiting, the crew groups them into one trip and contacts everyone with the date and time.
Whichever route applies, your appointment is final only after the crew confirms it by email. Leave every selected bin empty and provide access to an outdoor tap the crew can fill from on the scheduled day.

What to know before booking
How much does bin cleaning cost in Kitchener?
One bin is $10, two bins are $15, and two bins plus your recycling boxes are $20. Prices are per visit and there is no subscription.

Yes. Bin Heroes cleans household black garbage carts and green organics carts, along with blue recycling boxes. Every selected bin must be empty before the crew arrives.
Does the cleaning happen on collection day?
Not automatically. Choose or request a time after your bins have been emptied. The crew confirms the appointment separately, so check the confirmation email before leaving the bins ready.
Do I need to be home?
No. Leave the empty bins somewhere clear and accessible and make sure the crew can reach a working outdoor tap to fill from. You can be home if you prefer.
Do the Region’s watering restrictions affect my booking?
No. From May 31 to September 30 the Water Conservation By-law schedules outdoor water use by house number and time of day, but the crew fills buckets from your tap and runs the pressure washer off those. Ruby’s N2A walking route and the rest of Kitchener are both bookable on any day of the week because of it. A whole bin takes 3 to 6 litres.
